My apologies to Wordpress.com. It seems my laptop has a serious objection to displaying a Wordpress.com blog beyond the first page (and more than once in a browser session). I don't know what it is yet. (Yes, I've tried clearing browser cache and the DNS cache.) Oh, it's browser independent, both IE and Firefox are having trouble.
Weird.
My desktop, doesn't have a hint or hesitation in displaying Wordpress.com blogs.

I actually haven't been working on this issue since I posted. I just know now not to be quick to blame WP.
It's a bugger though, 'cause I figure it's some firewall setting on my work laptop that's wonking it up.

The "snap preview" thing on wordpress drives me bonkers--just thought I'd put it out there. I do know WP is way more powerful than blogger as far as tweaking it, but I'm so lazy!

Ah, is that a regular feature of WP, huh. I've seen it all over now, too, and I didn't associate it specifically with WP.
It drives me nuts too. Always popping up when I just was moving the mouse around the page. Annoying mostly.
